When it's just not coming together

I know what I should do. I revert back to a blank slate when it just doesn't come together. Too many layers. Too overworked. I can see it's my style, but it is not what I have in my mind's eye when I start a painting. I think it is a bit of ADD that kicks in after awhile. I find myself wondering to the next painting and rushing to finish an unresolved piece.
