Start of a Story

I thought I would work on a series of paintings.
I started with this portrait of a native dancer. He was a scary looking dude from the beginning. But I was drawn to his darkness. What is his story, really? I thought I would add to this the images found in the pictographs of Writing On Stone Provincial Park in Alberta.
I am currently working on the "other half" of a woman facing this man and the storyboard in pictographs as a background.
I plan on continuing the series with other portraits with pictographs in the background. I will see where this story will lead me.
