I am back to the cottonwood trail series, color sketches. I was so frustrated with not getting the feel for color combinations and not caring, I just quickly signed the piece and called it finished. It just nagged at me, so with nothing to lose I added new vibrant color over top. With a flick of the wrist I almost put it in the garbage. Instead it sits with the rest of the sketches just begging to live another day. I wonder why??
