I think I was remiss in posting this little color study of one of many  summer hiking trails in Beauvais lake.

Another trip to Beaver Mines with the Outsiders group to plein air paint. The three are in order of production.  Being a prairie girl, I have really avoided the attempt to paint those majestic Rocky Mountains. This second painting was my attempt at a grand vista in a small space. Paintings are all approx. 7x7inches.
