I made some subtle changes to this painting today. I glazed over the background buildings to lighten them. A little bit of glaze over some of the bright plants in the foreground calmed it down a little bit. It does not show well in a photo but I feel better about it today.
Each day shows something different.

Continuing on with some studies of the plein air from Sunday, while things are still fresh, I tried another attempt at the poppies. What a difference a day makes.
