It is already the 4th of January and I really wanted to work on a painting a day. The trick I think is to start first thing in the morning and get it over with before I start ticking off the things in my head of what I need to do next. This was a good start as I did these on Jan 1. Good thing as I can count the second one as Jan 2, as I did not accomplish this goal on the 2nd or 3rd.

These were done first thing this morning. So it is out of the way for the rest of the day. They are only 10 min experiments. 5x7 in size. The latter is the next painting I plan to embark upon. It does take a bit to get back into the swing of things.
