I'm really trying to keep my head in the game and doing these small pieces helps. Now that the weather has turned to warm an summer like conditions it is hard to keep up with the one a day paintings. After a couple of weeks off I started back with color photos again and fell back into the old thoughts of local color and wasn't intentionally pushing color. I realized this and with the last posted picture I think my intention of pushing color pushed it right off the edge.  Oh well, back to the drawing board, as they say.
I enjoyed my series painting. I may have to push myself back into exploration again and keep it in the realm of similar subject explored different ways. My problem is a frustration in which builds when I want to paint so many things.
